Arms for Sink and Stab Rolls
Arms of Sink, Stabilizing and Correcting Rolls at CGL Line are immersed into Zinc Bath and mainly casted by Stainless Steel, 316L.
After Casting, they are needed to be heat threated and tempered before machining to its final drawings in order to prevent any dimensional deformation due to shock temperature of molten Zinc, which is more than 450 oC, in Zinc Bath.
Arms have a cobalt alloy stopper (stellite4, Stellite6, Stellite12, ceramic) on its main body in order to guide the Sink Roll, Stabilizing Roll, Correcting Roll in line with Galvanizing Line Axis.
Arms has about 2 years lifetime and critical during alignment of complete Zinc Bath Equipment.
